Outstanding food, value, and service. The absolute largest amount of food ever for a lunch order in decades of eating in NYC. Excellent salmon--enough for 3+ meals, 2 huge pieces of great traditional whole wheat flat bread, rice with curried veggies (and lots of okra), and salad with dressing. Three meals' worth easily for the price of one. Great taste served with love. The next best part was how inexpensive for such quantities of authentic Yemeni cuisine.

Best Yemeni food in the bx for sure. Great food and always on point.great staff authentic to the culture

If you don't know Arabic, you're going to have a tough time ordering. Thankfully one of the workers spoke English and he was really nice. Like any other halal restaurant during Ramadan, it's hectic around Iftar. They gave us dates to break our fast with and we also received salads, soups (which was DELICIOUS) and this spicy sauce salsa thing. We ordered some of the samosas (unsure if these are called differently?) We were hesitant on what flavors to get. So the person helping us out just grabbed some for us to try and we were happy, they were yum. We ordered the mixed grill, 2 breads and hummus. I wanted to get the house special mixed grill with the lamb chops but they said they didnt have any more lamb. But i swear the other tables were getting lamb its fine My partner didnt like that the meats in the mixed grill were over charred, said it was practically burnt. I didnt like that the bread wasnt super fluffy like naan, a lot of it was very crispy like chips instead of fluffy. But we enjoyed our meal and honestly, I have more empathy for the staff during Ramadan, its definitely a hectic time when its time to eat. Theres also free tea you can grab and this was delicious as well. Sweet and full of cinnamon and cardamom taste.
